Casey Anthony: Good Mom or Baby Killer?

Ever since I was at the young age of three years old, I had always wanted to be a mother.
I grew up taking care of my four younger sisters, so I had the mother’s instinct and I was already
a “mother” in my heart. When I was a little girl, I remember taking my baby dolls and pretending
like they were real children. I would wrap them up in blankets, carry them everywhere, feed
them real food, cradle, love and nurture them like any mother would.  There was never a place
my “babies” would not go with me wherever I went, so did my “children”. My mother used to be
so frustrated with me, because those baby dolls were the only items I would ever play around
with. Having a child or many has always been what I am looking very forward to when I am at
the mature age. I could not imagine spending one day not having my son or daughter around,
when I am older, of course. Let alone being the reason why, like I believe Casey Anthony was
with her daughter. I personally believe Casey Anthony murdered her young daughter, and was let
out of jail on a free card. Like many others there is not a doubt in my mind that she did in fact
murder her young child, simply because she did not want to have the responsibility of having
someone to look after.

In trying to discover dependable research for my beliefs Casey Anthony was wrongly
acquitted, and did in fact murder or child, I came across many articles. I came across an article
on Investigation Discovery.com, “Criminal Report Daily: Casey Anthony Trial Case”. I know
this Article is credible because the investigators on this case cited their work and had
professional interviews from them located in this article. In this article, I looked at evidence
found in the trial of Casey Anthony V.S. Florida State. This trial is about a mom Casey Anthony Kayla
being charged with the murder of her three year old toddler Caylee Anthony. Casey was found
not guilty by “lack of evidence”. I believe this is incorrect, and she was guilty. The article I
found informed me more on the evidence found within the case that supports my reasoning of
belief. For instance, “Instead of looking for her daughter, Casey partied with friends, got tattoos,
lied to the police and had no cares in the world for 31 days.” This quote should help readers and
mothers think about her verdict. What kind of mother is able to go out and party, let alone
function correctly, while their child is missing? If Casey Anthony was in fact not guilty, she
would have done anything in her power to look and find her child. Instead, she enjoyed the thirty
one days of her child free life.

The Casey Anthony V.S the state of Florida trial has always intrigued me and caught my
attention. Due to the fact I have always wanted to be a mother and children are very important to
me, this case sickens me. I would like to further my research in this project for many reasons.
For instance, not only do I want to further my research because I love children, but because
people should open their eyes to see everything is not as it seems. Also, this case was not ancient
it was very recent and could happen to anyone’s child in anyone’s neighborhood. Parents and
guardians should worry about what is going on in their neighborhood, because everyone should
feel safe in their environment instead of concerned. Not only do I believe this case to be very
intriguing, but it kept America wanting to know more about the mysterious death of a young and
innocent child. Casey Anthony lied about many situations referring to her daughter going
missing; America was waiting to see what actually happened. I believe Casey Anthony was
wrongly convicted, and should have been found guilty. I believe this for as many reasons as any
other mother would. Casey gave false information referring to her daughter, never mentioned or Kayla
tried to look for Caylee. Nor did she care about the fact her daughter was no longer around. My
question I would like to know is “was Casey Anthony a mom or a cold hearted murderer?”
